2015 Winding Creek Band Contest (Single Musicians welcome)
  • $500.00 first place (Winner must play Sunday on main stage)
  • First place band to be paid after Sunday's performance. If band can't play prize money will be forfeited and runner up band will play. (See schedule for times to play)
  • $100.00 runner up
  • $50.00 third place
  • Gate or pre pay passes must be purchased to participate
  • Contest will take place from 10AM to 3PM Saturday at overlook stage behind log cabin
  • Bring your best 3 songs ( Artist must be ready to perform)
  • Music must be Bluegrass or Folk (acoustical instruments only – no drums or electric hook up allowed)
  • Sound set up will be a single condenser mic (old style music set up)
  • Judges to be selected by Bob Auth and Duane Davis
  • Send Band name and members to Duane Davis (address is on ticket page)
  • Bands who have played or playing at Winding Creek are not allowed to participate in contest
